Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly greeted by your safari guide. From there, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Take this day to relax and recover from your journey while also preparing for the exciting adventure that lies ahead. Arusha is a vibrant town, often referred to as the "Gateway to Tanzania's Northern Safari Circuit," and it offers a variety of activities and attractions to explore.

After a delicious breakfast at your Arusha accommodation, it's time to embark on your safari journey. You will be transferred to Arusha Airport for a domestic flight to Serengeti National Park. The short flight not only saves time but also provides a magnificent aerial view of the Serengeti's vast plains and wildlife from above.

Upon landing at Seronera Airstrip in Serengeti, your experienced guide will be eagerly waiting to welcome you. The adventure begins with a thrilling game drive through the heart of the Serengeti. The park is renowned for its exceptional wildlife, and you'll have the chance to encounter the famous "Big Five" – lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, and rhinos. Additionally, you'll encounter a diverse array of other fascinating animals and birdlife.

As the day comes to a close, you'll head to your chosen lodge or camp within the Serengeti. There, you can relax, enjoy a delicious dinner, and listen to the sounds of the African wilderness under the starry sky.

Prepare for an unforgettable day as you embark on a full-day safari in the Serengeti. You'll set off early with a packed breakfast, ensuring that you maximize your time for wildlife viewing. The Serengeti's landscape is ever-changing, and your guide will lead you to the best spots to witness the incredible Great Migration, if it's the migration season. The exact location of the wildebeest herds can vary throughout the year.

During your full-day adventure, you'll have a picnic lunch in the heart of the park, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the Serengeti's untamed beauty. The diversity of wildlife and the vastness of the savannah will leave you in awe. Your guide's expertise will enhance your experience, as they share their knowledge about the animals, flora, and fauna of this iconic ecosystem.

As the day draws to a close, you'll return to your lodge or camp, and if time permits, you may get the chance to enjoy a sundowner – a refreshing drink while watching the sun dip below the horizon.

Next, it's time to say goodbye to the Serengeti as you transfer to Seronera Airstrip for your domestic flight back to Arusha. Upon arrival in Arusha, your safari guide will either transfer you to your hotel if you're extending your stay or take you directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure flight.

  6. Vaccinations and Medications: The cost of necessary vaccinations and medications for travel to Tanzania should be considered separately.
  7. Additional Accommodation: Accommodation before and after the safari dates in Arusha or any other location is not included in the package and should be arranged by the guests.
